CUBA
The Republic
of Cuba is a small country situated on the north Caribbean in the continent
North America, which is basically a long narrow island. One-third of the
country has high mountains and hills whereas the other two-thirds is the plain
lowland used for farming. It is the 8th largest island in the world.
If we gauge the Republic of Cuba on these merits, the
following information can be obtained:
1. Exports
Tobacco is
the chief export products of Cuba. The primary products produced and exported
by Cuba are raw sugar, refined
petroleum, hard liquor, raw nickel, citrus fruits, coffee, fish, pharmaceuticals etc… Most products are exported from
Cuba are to China, Spain and the Netherlands.

of the Republic of Cuba is undemocratic by academics and human rights groups,
and is defined by the dictatorship.

boasts one of the highest literacy rates in the world.

There are no private hospitals or clinics because all health services are run by the
government
3. Culture and Heritage
Cuba is
famous for popular and classical music, restoration of its historic
cities, beautiful countryside, good food, wonderful weather and quality of its
architecture.The culture of Cuba is a complex mixture of
different, sometimes contradicting, factors and influences. The Cuban people and their customs are
based on European, Amerindian and African influences.
4. People
People
of Cuba are the inhabitants and are
born there. Cuba is
a multi-tradition nation, which is home to people of different ethnic and national backgrounds. Baseball has a special
place in Cuban hearts. Cubans have a strong affinity for chess. Cubans are some of the
friendliest and most honest people on the planet
5. Tourism
Cuba is a
great place for tourism because it has great places such as Havana, Varadero,
Trinidad, Vinales etc… Cuba's climate is tropical
and seasonally humid however, other climatic times located in the mountain
areas and on the coasts coexist. It has periods: little rainy and rainy. Tourism in Cuba is a huge industry
that generates over 4.7 million arrivals which makes it one of the main sources
of revenue for the island.
6. Investment and Immigration
Many people immigrate to Cuba but as in all
countries, you will have to get residence permits to stay there more than a
certain time that is allowed to
tourists. Cuba has allowed
foreigners to start to invest in the property with
the approval of the new immigration law granting residency to foreign owners of property in the country.
